A Date With Silver Featuring Limoblaze

Welcome once again to this amazing interview. We bring you the lives of our artist both far and wide that you don't know about, am talking about the life behind the glamour.
Today we have a gospel rapper by the name Limoblaze.
Silver: You are welcome Limo
Limoblaze: Thank you, its an honnor to be here.
Silver; Can we get to know you?
Limblaze:My name is Samuel Imo      Jr. Am an indegine originally from Abia State but I was born n makurdi Benue State. I basically lived all my life here. Am a student of the Federal University Of Agriculture Makurdi, currently am in 300level studying biochemistry.

Silver: So how long have you been into rapping?

Limoblaze: Ok, I officially started recording in 2012 but I'have been into rap from as early as a 8 or 9 years old. When I came across rap CDs in my house from my elder ones.

Silver: What was the title of your first track?

Limoblaze: emmm, 123 my grace, did that with Nowizo.

Silver: Okay, so why did you choose gospel rap?

Limoblaze: Ok, basically I have been a Christian all my life, was born in a Christian family and I had Christian values my whole life. To me everything is a form of communication, and you can only communicate something you have a knowlegde of, and all my life, the knowledge I've always had is my experience with God.

Silver: What Inspires you to write?

Limoblaze: Ok it was through my contact with musical CDs available in my family from different artist, the likes of Jackson, westlife, Eminem and I grew up in a music loving family , so music is like a better half of me. What inspires me is the inspiration of God. So apart from that, I work in a studio, I watch a movie and it inspires me, I've watched God's not dead and I wrote a song, also I've watched believe and so on. In recent time I have written love songs, lemme say I am Inspired by love too.

Silver: Who is your mentor and how have they been of help to you?

Limoblaze: Well, my number one mentor is not someone I have met in my life and I am hoping to meet him someday. He goes by the name LECRAE MOR. I encountered his music in 2011, I am one of his biggest fan around the world, I follow him on all his social medias. I have his book Unashamed that am reading, I have almost every video that lecrae's name is tagged to it on YouTube . I basically follow his life and it has been a blessing.

Silver: Who has been your best collab in your music career?

Limoblaze: my best should be Naomi D Diva, It might not be my best song, but she and I have had a nice working relationship.

Silver: Whats your greatest achievement as an artist?

Limoblaze: Okay, when I get message from people that listens to the music and confessions of blessings and people telling me, they are blessed by my music. Ok we get money once in a while, I've gotten international recognition, but all that don't really excite me like when I get message from some one that's genuinely telling me that, the music have affected them in a positive way.

Silver: What do you have to say about gospel artist getting paid or not?

Limoblaze: Ok now what we do is ministry, first of all, the aim of ministry is not to get paid. The aim of ministry is to bless souls, but that does not mean that the artist or minister should not receive financial blessings. There is also a place in Bible that say's “A labourer is worthy of his wages" so I think a minister putting money first is not right but the organisers should at least have a financial blessing for them.

Silver: What should your fans be expecting before the year runs out?

Limoblaze: yeah, my album, that I have been working on, is coming out on the 4th of December, I have a single coming out on the 25th October which is my birthday, and am sure that its gonna bless lives. I most possibly might have a video coming up before the album or after. So there's gonna be alot before the year runs out, but the height of everything is my album, BLIND.
