Miss Fresher; Well my name is Ujiakwu Daphne Amarachi, but almost everybody knows me as Dee Dee. Am a student of BSU studying Religion and Philosophy, so, that's that for now. I am also the miss fresher of Benue State University.

Silver; OK, So Dee what inspired you to contest for this?

Miss Fresher; Actually, I have always thought of contesting for Miss fresher even before getting admission into the university. I'have always wanted to contest for it, also I needed a platform to start modeling on a professional level and I like modeling and I love good clothes.

Silver; What were the obstacles you faced when contesting for Miss fresher?

Miss fresher; First of all, time, then my friends then my academics, because some times our rehearsals clashed with my lectures, so I had to find time to merge everything together and then  the money aspect, kia not In this regime abeg! (hahahahahahah). I actually did faced a lot from my family and friends. My brother didn't want me to contest, my friends also didn't want me to contest, whatever there reason was, I really didn't know, but I still went ahead.

Silver; Wow that shows courage and determination. So tell Us, how was the contest?

Miss Fresher; Well it was free and fair, ok am not just saying that because I won it (heheheh). It all started at the rehearsals, they were also judging us from there, so your efforts really speaks for you.

Silver; Okay. This crown lasts for a year if am not mistaking, so do you have any other contest in mind?

Miss Fresher; Emmm, well yeah, I am thinking of contesting for Miss BSU in my 200 level. it's still a thought thou. I haven't made up my mind yet.

Silver; Wow, wow, that's nice. So your fans should get ready for you in Miss Bsu. So what do you have to say to the next Miss Fresher?

Miss Fresher; I have to say, the next Miss Fresher has to be very beautiful, because being beautiful I have to set the line for other coming miss freshers. She has to love good dresses, she also have to relate with other people ( i.e her fans). It's not because she's the a queen and then just keep her head high. If she is able to humble herself, she will gain the love of the fans and have more leverage.

Silver; That's a nice piece of advise. So finally, What do you have to say to your fans?

Miss Fresher; My message to my fans is that, everybody sees modeling as a bad thing, actually it depends on where the modeling is. They see it as a form of prostitution but its not. So anyone who sees me should see me as a role model. I know am not perfect, so they should be able to see some trait in me worthy of coping and am fun to be with and I love them and won't let them down.

Silver; They love you too. That was a great speech on modeling, cause a lot of people have a wrong view of models. So with that we end today's interview. Thank you so much Miss Dee for coming. To my amazing viewers who read to the end, Thank you so much. We meet again, same time next week, Thank you all. Peace.
R-L; Jerry, Silver, Dee Dee, Alvin
