Mr Ideal: Its a pleasure been here trust me.
Silver: Thank you, so lets get started, Tell us about your background.
Mr Ideal: Okay first of all, my name is Adole Joseph, I am from Benue state, but I was born in the north. I am Idoma by tribe, over the years due to my parents occupation, we have move alot. I can speak three languages fluently. Am an easy going person.
Silver: How is modeling at the beginning?
Mr Ideal: People see modeling as just a profession but I see it as a lifestyle. I started modeling professionally for two years now. Actually at the beginning all you need is the love for fashion and letting your signature show in your style of dressing. That's what puts you out.
Silver: What Challenges do you face as a male model?
Mr Ideal: You know, it's recently that male models are been recognized in makurdi. It use to be just the female, Miss Benue, Miss Tourism, Face of Bsu and so on. So the male models where sidelined. As a male model, people tend to take you less serious, but if you are able to drive your vision to the direction you want it, you will pull through.
Silver: What is Mr Ideal?
Mr Ideal: First thing first, if something is Ideal, it means it flawless. So Mr Ideal Benue is a title I hold dear. So in our society, you'll find all corrupt acts and behavior, but as the Ideal, you"ll have to set a standard amidst all this vices and try to help others stop this practices.
Silver: What are you planning to achieve as Mr Ideal?
Mr Ideal: Well am working on a project with my team to go to the grass-root of our society (i.e the children) and nurture them on time to be of good behavior so that as the progress in life, it will not leave them. And those who are grown up are not yet lost. I hope to get to them through campaigns and help our youths to make life much better.
Silver: How do you merge modeling and schooling?
Mr Ideal: Honestly, it has not been easy, but first you try to remember why you are here in the first place. I am from Benue state but I stay in the east, I came here to school and know more about my place. I came here for my academics, I can't forget that. So if I was doing well in my modeling but flopping in school, it will be a loss for me, so I try to balance it. So the punch line is, Read your books, attend lectures you can reschedule any other thing and later attend to it and it will still move fine.
Silver: What Agencies have you or do you work under?
Mr Ideal: As Mr Ideal, I have worked with may agencies but I am not signed to any agency per say. Am in 400level and soon be done with school, after which I will own my own agency.
Silver: So what is your next target after this?
Mr Ideal: Mr Ideal Benue was a stage contest, I will like to go national after this, that's for Mr Ideal Nigeria. Also I will like to take it further into acting. All this have been planned, the blue print is there, it just take time and we will walk into them.
