Thieves Arrested With Wooden Both With Stolen Oil



The Economic and financial crime commission (The EFCC) convicted twelve(12) suspected oil thieves with a vessel and boats from the Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) Pathfinder Naval base.
Commodore W.O Kayoda the Commander NNS Pathfinder reported that, the suspected oil criminals, where arrested by the NNS Pathfinder patron team, on the 6th of February 2017, deployed for anti-crude oil theft/ Illegal Bunkering operation around Rivers State and other states.



They were apprehended with one (1) MV OMISAN 1 vessel and one wooden boat. This suspect were caught in the act of transferring approximately 60,000 liters of of illegally automated refinned gas oil, AGO.
The suspects apprehended with this MV OMISAN 1 are Namely; Captain Benjamio Igiogio; Engineer Samuel Ogunfemi; Jakpa Eyituoyo; Johnson Dudu; Ogunkalu Taiwo; Toju Oko-Otiuroh; Desmond Edafe Unuarhe; Ibiye Ngiania; Sylvanus Ikorawi J; Ayadi Abiola, Chibueze Nwali and Imeh Brown.
Investigation is said to be carried out as they await trial.
