Why Igbo presidency in 2019 is unrealistic — Amechi

The dream of the Igbos producing the next president in 2019 may not be feasible in view of the present political structure which is unfavorable to them, Nigerian’s first Aviation Minister, Chief Mbazulike Amechi, has said.

Speaking to newsmen in his country home in Ukpor, Nnewi, Anambra State during a courtesy visit by the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) in the state, the elder statesman, however, maintained that giving the Igbos the opportunity to have a taste of the presidency is one sure way of saving the nation from further degeneration.
