“I’m happy I’ve won at least something in my life. My story has warmed people’s hearts and that’s the most important thing,” - That was Horcelie Sinda Wa Mbongo response to the media after she was crowned Miss Congo UK 2017.
The 22-year-old Congolese who is studying fine arts degree in London was HIV positive from birth and only discovered when she was 11.
Slinda plans to return to Congo to carry on campaigning on HIV and AIDS.
