MY MARRIAGE..THE ONLY FAMILY I CAN CHOSE
Have you ever imagined what it would be like if you had to chose your family? Your parents,siblings,uncles and aunties?
That would be special wouldn't it, now marriage is the only avenue that gives us that opportunity to really choose who we want to be in our family, so why take that opportunity for granted by rushing into it?

To really understand what marriage is meant to be, we have to perfectly understand God's purpose for marriage, now knowing God's purpose for marriage doesn't mean we should sit and wait for God to say "Hey brother John, that's your wife..go and marry her" far from that. The idea behind God's creation of a woman for man is focused on help and companionship; now Adam never went around looking for a wife,the bible says he was focused on working and God saw the need and hence he(God) prepared/made one for him(Genesis 2:18-25).

Now notice that the lord "made", the lord himself prepared that help for Adam,as a woman there is no better way to prepare for marriage than letting God do the preparation. You cannot be perfectly prepared if God has not prepared no matter how smart or intelligent you may seem to be.
Let me share this story I once heard in a ministration;
A very devoted and rich youth leader wanted to get married and had already pictured his perfect wife without even seeking God's face in the matter,and so he devised several ways to pick a wife. First,we went to church much more earlier than it was supposed to start with the intent that the first lady who came to church that day would be his wife, and that same day a sister who was almost invalid and had physical disabilities was the first to come to church,seeing her he immediately began to rebuke and whatever spirit brought her to church at that particular moment. Next, he decided to go to church on a non-worship day and proposed in his heart that any woman he found in the church on this day would be the one he will get married to, ironically on this particular day that disabled sister had also proposed to fast and pray throughout that day in the church, and before he even went to church she was already on her knees in front of the church altar!!.
Surprising right? But the fact is that when God prepares a plan or in this case a person for you,then your wish becomes irrelevant because his plans are even greater than your wishes.

And as for you ladies,you just have to be that woman that God really wants you to be,exposing your bodies will never fetch you the right man,if only you know that your bodies are treasures meant to be hidden for that prepared man.Just like a key fits into it's right lock,each man is prepared for a woman, just like a woman is prepared for him.

Brother, do not focus your time looking for a right Lady to marry,God is already preparing that lady for you.And so just keep working on being that perfect man God wants you to be and at the right time the right woman will come.
