Beyonce and Jay Z Name Their Twins 'Sir Carter and Rumi Carter'

TMZ has revealed the names of Beyonce and Jay Z's twins to be Rumi Carter and Sir Carter.

The website reported that a company run by Beyonce and Jay Z - which owns the trademarks to their names - filed legal documents to secure the unusual names.

The docs, the report said were filed on the 26th of June 2017.

Rumi, a Japanese moniker was used to pay homage to the 13th-century Persian poet Jelaluddin Rumi while Sir is usually used to refer to a man.

The duo are parents to a five-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy (Carter).

Long story short, welcome Sir and Rumi.
