The Meaning Of Etisalat's New Name “9Mobile”- CEO Explains

The new CEO, Boye Olusanya in an interview with daily trust which held in Lagos, explained why the company choose the me name after it stopped operating as etisalat.
Boye stated that the new name 9mobile was deliberately chosen as it represents and confirms the Nigerian heritage and also as it marks a new phase of the company's 9(nine) years of operation im Nigeria. He also went further to assure their users that despite the change of name, they will maintain their operations.
The brand colour remained “Green” as it represent the Nigerian nature, its Vibrancy, uniqueness, Life and youth.
Emerging Markets Telecommunication Services Limited (EMTS) formally confirmed the development on Tuesday, July 18.
