ESUT Presents - “The Hult Prize ” (Read Details)
HULT PRIZE @ESUT - Building the next generation of social entrepreneurs
WHAT IS THE HULT PRIZE
It's a social entrepreneurship platform where students around the world come together to solve the toughest problems of the world.
Hult Prize encourages teamwork as students pair themselves into teams and register to participate in Hult Prize on Campus event.
After registration, teams are followed up by our teams coordinator, successful entrepreneurs and mentors who educate and coach them through info sessions and idea sprint events, mostly on weekends.
On the day of the event, teams pitch their ideas in front of the judges, respond to the judges' questions and are scored accordingly.
The Hult Prize is made up of three stages: Campus competition, regional and final. The winning idea in the final stage gets mentorship from the world's leading businesses and USD1Million as a startup capital. Other teams could attract investors if their ideas are feasible.
In summary, the Hult Prize is a solution-oriented, profit making, social entrepreneurship platform where students around the world come together to solve problems. It's aimed at reaching out to millions of people through an idea and impacting their lives.
The Hult Prize @ESUT is open to all ESUT students (undergraduates, post-graduates [masters and PhDs]). Students pair themselves in a team of 3 or 4 and register on our website. Students must not have an idea before registering as the Hult Prize team of successful entrepreneurs, CEOs, mentors and teams coordinator would help students with the ideation.
2018 HULT PRIZE CHALLENGE IS: HARNESSING THE POWER OF ENERGY TO TRANSFORM THE LIVES OF 10 MILLION PEOPLE
NOTE: All ideas should revolve around the challenge.
